Binjamin Wilkomirski published a book called Fragments in 1995 in which he told his Holocaust story. He had therefore watched as a small child as Nazis shot his father. Was then in several camps and after the war painstakingly researched his dead relatives. A tragic story. Thank goodness the book sold well, he was compared to Primo Levi and Elie Wiesel, spoke about his life in the Holocaust on several podiums, and gained notoriety.
