The eyelash curler is an integral part of the make-up routine for many – after all, it conjures up curved and voluminous eyelashes in just a few seconds. But the beauty tool can do much more than just lift the eyelashes: it can help create the perfect eyeshadow look.
TikTokerin @lenkalul shows in a video how she conjures up an accurate eye make-up with only a brush, an eyeshadow color and her eyelash curler.
First, she places the curved edge of her eyelash curler directly on the crease of the eyelid and uses a brush to apply brown eyeshadow along the curler – this creates a so-called “cut crease” that gives the eye more depth and creates a Bambi look.
She then places the grip of the eyelash length along the eye and draws a line with a thin brush, which is then connected to the “cut crease” for the seductive look.
Incidentally, the eyelash curler also makes applying false eyelashes child’s play. Make-up artist Adrián Ríos shows how it all works in a TikTok video:
To do this, place the eyelash set on the rubber part of the eyelash curler, apply some eyelash glue to your own eyelashes and then use the curler as usual on your own eyelashes to lift them. This connects the false lashes to your own lashes.
