Frantic yet humorous, actress Drew Barrymore runs through her home in a video clip she uploaded to Instagram. The house alarm sounds in the background while Barrymore, cell phone camera in hand, appears to be looking for the culprit who set it off.
“You can’t invent this stuff. A moment that won’t take my positives away from me. I laugh instead,” writes the 48-year-old about this wonderfully normal video. The actress stands in front of the camera wearing only a towel, and you can clearly see the shaving cream under her arms.
Life writes the best stories. In towel gear, Barrymore then gets to the bottom of the cause of the problem, opens the patio door, looks out, and then apparently in the garage – there are tools hanging on the wall – to fix the problem with the house alarm. Drew Barrymore was just looking forward to a relaxing bath. “I was so excited to finally shave,” she says at the beginning of the video, “after three months,” she adds. However, she does not reveal why she has not shaved for so long.
In the end, she comes back to her bathtub and states: “This bathtub is ready. But I managed to shave myself under stress and panic. So, the joke is on you!”. Barrymore’s followers are not distracted by the funny story and the half-naked actress because there is a note with a love message on the wall behind her in her bathroom.
