A few days before the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Liverpool, the German ESC participant Lord of the Lost is already getting a little stage fright. “Of course, the ESC is something completely new again,” said singer Chris Harms (43) to the eurovision.de portal, which ARD activated for the singing competition. “That means I always fluctuate, depending on how I feel on the day, sometimes every minute, between completely relaxed and sometimes almost in panic.” The Hamburg rock band represents Germany at the ESC.
But Harms reassured: “Well, I’m not anxious all day, I’m actually happy almost all the time. And I can’t wait to practice again.” After the first rehearsal, there was a meeting about what should be changed. “I feel like a horse in this starting box, pawing its hooves. And it just wants to start running.”
