Duchess Meghan’s (41) Spotify podcast “Archetypes” should come back next week, according to the US industry portal “Variety”. Comedian and actress Margaret Cho (53) will be a guest. The Duchess of Sussex had paused her podcast for the duration of the mourning period after the death of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). This ended on September 26, seven days after the funeral of the Queen, who died on September 8.

According to the report, the new episode of “Archetypes” will be released on October 4th. As of August 23, three episodes of the audio series have been released. In it, Prince Harry’s (38) wife spoke to tennis star Serena Williams (41), singer Mariah Carey (53) and most recently to actress Mindy Kaling (43). Other guests are said to be Robin Thede (43) and Ziwe Fumudoh (30).

Harry and Meghan are said to have returned to their California home after the Queen’s funeral on September 19. According to Variety, the couple then took a few days to just be there for their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to Europe for a charity performance in early September and only intended to stay for a few days. After the Queen’s death, they extended their stay until after Harry’s grandmother’s funeral.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry signed a reportedly $18 million three-year exclusive podcast deal with Spotify in December 2020. At the time, it was said that Meghan would speak to “historians, experts and special guests” in “Archetypes”, among other things, who should uncover the origins of prejudice and explain how it shapes our culture. “It’s about how we talk about women, the words our girls are raised with and the way the media reflects us women.”
