Former US President Donald Trump (76) has again criticized Duchess Meghan (41). In an interview with the British news channel “GB News”, he said that she treated the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) “very disrespectfully”.
In an interview with moderator Nigel Farage (59), Trump said: “I think she was very disrespectful to the Queen.” For Elizabeth II, however, he only found words of praise. She was “incredible” and “never made a mistake”. Trump emphasized: “It was never controversial. It has survived years and decades without controversy.” You can’t just treat the Queen disrespectfully. Meghan did this “for no reason”.
Trump has a better opinion of King Charles III. (74). He has high hopes for the coronation on May 6th. It was “a great day” and he gave the new British monarch his full support. “He really loves his country and he loved his mother.” That’s why he was “surprised” that Prince Harry (38) was invited to the coronation after the attacks on the royal family.
Trump has often teased the Sussexes. In April 2022, he described Prince Harry as an “embarrassment” who was in bondage to his wife. The Queen’s grandson is “under the thumb like no other person I’ve ever seen.” Back in 2020, Trump admitted during a press conference that he was “not a fan” of Meghan. This is mutual, as the former actress is considered a Trump critic.
In the current interview, the former president also showed little understanding for his successor Joe Biden (80). The fact that he does not come to the historic event in London is “incompetent”. Trump also sneered that Biden would probably rather “sleep” while Charles III. is crowned.
