Hollywood giant Dolph Lundgren (65) has entered into marriage. On the Greek island of Mykonos, the Swedish action star said yes to his longtime fiancé Emma Krokdal (27) last Thursday (July 13). This is reported by “People” magazine.

“We have decided to celebrate our love by getting married at our villa in Mykonos,” the newlyweds told People. The ceremony took place in the presence of “family and some close friends”. Previously, the couple said they had to postpone their wedding many times due to “challenging medical treatments.”

Action star Lundgren only revealed in May this year that he had been diagnosed with cancer in 2015. After this initially seemed defeated, the disease returned in 2020 with metastases in the lungs, stomach, spine and kidneys. Lundgren said he expected to die soon, but luckily treatment finally worked well and the numerous tumors shrank.

Lundgren met his new wife, Krokdal, a Norwegian-born personal trainer, at a Los Angeles gym. The couple, separated by an age difference of around 38 years, has been engaged since 2020. Lundgren said of his wife in an interview in May this year: “She is very mature and at the same time I think I am very young.”

It is Lundgren’s second marriage. From 1994 to 2011 he was married to jewelry designer and stylist Anette Qviberg (57). Two children were born from the star’s first marriage.
