When Pharrell Williams calls, they all come. At his debut as creative director in the men’s department of the luxury label Louis Vuitton, the who’s who of fashion, music and film cavorted in Paris on Tuesday evening. Front row seats were filled with big-caliber stars like Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Jared Leto, Zendaya, Naomi Campbell and Rihanna with ASAP Rocky, alongside City Mayor Anne Hidalgo. Pharrell himself closed the show in a pixelated Damoflage suit.
Beyoncé is currently on a “Renaissance” tour. She took a little time off for Pharrell and made a detour to Paris. She arrived in a yellow suit, Louis Vuitton bag, sunglasses and husband Jay-Z.
Jared Leto is known for his extravagant looks. He didn’t disappoint in Paris either. He paired his blue hair with a tailored long kimono-style white coat and garish makeup.
Pharrell Williams made singer Rihanna the star of his spring “Louis Vuitton” campaign. Rihanna is currently pregnant with her second child. As with her first pregnancy, she is considered a style icon for many expectant mothers around the world as she flouts traditional maternity wear. Same with Pharrell’s show. The singer arrived in an open denim jumpsuit that also showcased her baby girl. With her partner ASAP Rocky, who also wore a jeans ensemble.
The model wore a skirt and jacket two-piece, featuring the company’s classic print on leather. She wore the matching boots.
Singer and actress Zendaya wasn’t the only guest on the show. She’s also recently become the brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton and the face of the iconic Capucines bag. Zendaya arrived in a sparkling suit with a shirt and bell-bottoms.
