Dale Meeks is dead. The British actor died on April 23, 2023. He was 47 years old. A family member announced his death via Facebook, among other things, according to “The Guardian”. A cause of death is not yet known. “So incredibly sad,” the post says. “Brother-in-law, mate and just about the best friend anyone could ask for. RIP Dale Meeks. There’s so much less to laugh about now that you’re not around to share it with us.”

Dale Meeks made his acting debut in Byker Grove in the early 1990s. In the popular teen series, he played a rival gang member of the main characters.

After his breakthrough role in Byker Grove, Dale Meeks starred in Emmerdale, one of Britain’s most popular soap operas. In addition to his TV engagements, he appeared in musicals, in “Chicago” or “Love Never Dies”, the sequel to “The Phantom of the Opera”.

Most recently, Dale Meeks starred in The Hunt for Raoul Moat, a true-crime series about a murderer whose quest for revenge gripped England in 2010.
