The pandemic and confinement accelerated this type of consumption at home, which has grown and evolved, involving all the actors involved in this economic activity. Beyond ‘fast food’ – fast food – which already had some experience in this area, traditional cuisine has found a gold mine. This is what emerges from the latest report prepared by one of the most widespread food delivery platforms in the national geography –Glovo, which operates in 400 municipalities–. Under the title GastroEspaña Barometer, this study on the consumption trends of the most emblematic dishes of Spanish gastronomy, to which ABC has had access, has highlighted that the undisputed queen of our cuisine is the croquette.
