After the coronation of Charles III. (74) and Camilla (75), the royal family has published private pictures and video recordings. They show a number of special moments for the royal couple and the family of heir to the throne Prince William (40).

Buckingham Palace released a series of official images from the historic day. All show Charles and Camilla in their royal robes. The footage provides a behind-the-scenes look at how the royals experienced their big day. They show, for example, the royal couple walking through the palace while tens of thousands of people are waiting outside to appear on the balcony.

In other shots, the couple can be seen looking out at the large crowd from the balcony. An intimate moment was also captured in which the newly crowned royals face each other and exchange a few personal words. The palace also shared on its official Instagram page how Charles and Camilla admire the Red Arrows flyby.

Other images provide a closer look at the clothing. Camilla’s ivory dress is embroidered in gold with images of her two dogs, Bluebell and Beth, and the names of her son, Tom, and grandchildren, Gus and Lola.

The royal couple of Wales also shared pictures and a video clip on their social networks. This shows sweet family moments before the public got their first glimpse of them at Westminster Abbey. You can see how Prince William brings his daughter Charlotte (8) and son Louis (5) to the vehicles with which they drove to the coronation service.

The children are visibly excited, and Princess Charlotte even gapes in her Alexander McQueen dress when she sees the motorcade. The remainder of the clip shows highlights of the family throughout the day, from the procession to the Abbey to the small air show on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

William and Princess Kate (41) write about the private snapshots: “What a day. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.” The royal couple also retweeted a message from the Royal Air Force, which shared images of key moments of the day. Incidentally, Prince Harry (38) cannot be seen in the recordings. As expected, he made his way home to his family in California right after the coronation.

Charles and Camilla’s next scheduled appearance is the Coronation Concert on Sunday (May 7) at Windsor Castle with stars like Lionel Richie (73) and Katy Perry (38). Other members of the Royal Family will attend the “Big Lunches” across the country.
