The legacy of the late rapper Coolio (1963-2022) has not yet been clarified. As “The Blast” reports, the musician’s former manager has now gone to court on his behalf.

Apparently Coolio didn’t leave a will. His manager and friend Jarez Posey has therefore started the legal process to have the estate appraised, court documents show. The filing lists Coolio’s seven adult children (out of ten in all) as his next of kin and the likely beneficiaries of his estate.

However, it is not about a lot of money. The paper estimates the value of Coolio’s estate at just over $300,000, or around €280,001. The sum is said to include personal property, financial accounts, insurance policies and royalties.

Coolio was found dead in Posey’s bathroom on September 28. Paramedics suspect he has suffered cardiac arrest, but there is no official cause of death.
