Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones (53) outshone everyone on Wednesday (November 16) at the world premiere of the series “Wednesday”. Along with her fellow actors from the new TV show, she appeared at the Los Angeles event, which was held at the Hollywood Legion Theater. Zeta-Jones walked the red carpet in a floor-length mermaid dress in white.

The deep neckline of the robe skilfully emphasized her décolleté. When it came to accessories, she went for diamond earrings and a striking diamond ring. Michael Douglas’ (78) wife wore her black, long hair open.

“Wednesday” (from November 23 on Netflix) is a new horror comedy series from horror director Tim Burton (64). The focus of the story is the popular “Addams Family” character Wednesday Addams, embodied by Jenna Ortega (20).

As a teenager, Wednesday attends Nevermore Academy, a kind of high school for characters from the eerily weird world of the Addams Family. She must attempt to “master her burgeoning psychic abilities, stop a monstrous murder spree that is gripping the city, and uncover the supernatural mystery her parents were embroiled in 25 years ago – all while pursuing their new and very… have to get a handle on the confused relationships at school,” it says in advance.

There are also “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie (44, as Principal Larissa Weems), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Galpin), Percy Hynes White (21, Xavier Thorpe), Hunter Doohan (28, Tyler Galpin), Emma Myers (20, Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (b. 1997, Bianca Barclay) or Christina Ricci (42, Marilyn Thornhill).

Catherine Zeta Jones stars as Morticia Addams. Papa Gomez embodies Luis Guzmán (66).

The series classic “The Addams Family” flickered in the original version in 1964 for the first time on the screens.
