After a nine-year absence from concerts, the well-known singer-songwriter Cat Stevens aka Yusuf (74) is returning. Stevens will be giving two open-air concerts in Germany this summer. Stevens actually wanted to return to Germany in 2020. But the corona pandemic prevented this project. At that time he wanted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his 1970 album “Tea for the Tillerman”, with which he had his international breakthrough.
Now he is making up for the visit as part of his European tour. In addition to the summer concerts in Germany, Italy and Spain, the musician will play at this year’s Glastonbury Festival in Great Britain. General ticket sales for Cat Stevens’ shows begin March 31 at 11 am at all known box offices.
