Canadian artist Rodney Graham is dead. Graham died on Saturday at the age of 73 after a long illness, according to several galleries the artist worked with. Numerous Canadian media also reported on the death of the multimedia artist, citing family and friends.

Born in western Canada in 1949, Graham was considered one of the most successful contemporary artists, whose works in genres such as film, photography, installation, painting, literature and music sometimes sold at high prices. Graham, who belonged to the “Vancouver School” with artists such as Jeff Wall and Stan Douglas, has also received numerous awards.
