Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid couldn’t believe their own eyes.
They sat in the middle of their morgenprogram on Good Morning Britain on ITV on Wednesday morning. Their reporter had sprung up unannounced to interview the british prime minister, Boris Johnson.
The quite energetic reporter on the spot was on a visit in the conservative Pudsey in Yorkshire, where Boris Johnson was on the visit with the company Modern Milkman.
the Reporter shouts after Boris Johnson:
“Good morning, prime minister, you will not be on Good Morning Britain, the prime minister?”
And so it happens, that gets morgenværterne to respond.
One of Boris Johnson’s assistants turns to the reporter and the camera and says: ‘Oh for fuck’s sake’ – loosely translated to English ‘aw hell’.
It all unfolded, as mentioned, live on tv, and a fast producer to ensure that the two hosts, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid shows up in the one side of the screen.
Susanna Reid takes to his head with both hands, while Piers Morgan clearly surprised.
Both discharge the a ‘uuuuuuuhhhhh’.
But the special session does not stop here.
The tenacious ITV-reporter is not finished trying to get hold of Boris Johnson, who disappeared behind a car, as the first scene unfolded.
Jonathan Swain, as the ITV reporter called, trying again to shout Boris Johnson, when he, along with the camera gets maneuvered himself towards the prime minister again.
Here will be the reporter in his own words ‘pushed and pulled’ in by Boris Johnson’s assistants. It gets him not to give way, and he tries again to get Boris Johnson to do an interview with the waiting hosts in the studio.
“I have an earpiece for you,” says Jonathan Swain, and tries once more to get Boris Johnson in the speech.
Johnson answer: “I’m just on a bit”. Then he disappears into a large refrigerator filled with milk.
the Scenes have created a stir in the Uk, where a strip of the major media has picked up the story. Here expounds several media outlets – including The Guardian and Mirror – like, Boris Johnson, tried to hide himself from the press.
Also Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan came up on the scene.
It happened on Twitter, which Morgan called Boris Johnson’s act of ‘cowardly’.
for a number of the british media linking Boris Johnson’s act more or less together with, to the last opinion polls before Thursday’s elections is on a downward path for the Conservatives and the prime minister.
Quite known they have continued a solid edge, but it has fallen markedly over the last few weeks.
Not least in the case of the four-year-old Jack, who had to lie on the floor in a hospital in Leeds in four hours with acute pneumonia, has given Johnson and co. problems.
the Opponent in the Labour and Jeremy Corbyn, have long seen the nhs as their main priority, and have got a bit of wind in their sails with the case of Jack.
So are Conservatives, according to a measure Wednesday now ‘only’ to get the 339 seats. It requires 320 to get the majority.
