The new edition of the legendary Saturday evening show “Wetten, dass…?” will take place on November 25, 2023 in Offenburg. This was confirmed by ZDF when asked by the news agency spot on news. Just about two weeks ago, Thomas Gottschalk (72) led through this year’s edition of the show and brought together just over ten million TV viewers in front of the nation’s screens. In an interview with the “Bild” newspaper, Gottschalk said about the new date: “I’m happy if it continues.”

It has not yet been confirmed whether his co-moderator Michelle Hunziker (45) will be at his side again. It was only last year that ZDF published “Wetten, dass..?” new on. After the predominantly positive response to the first revival show from Nuremberg in 2021, the broadcaster decided to continue with Gottschalk.

It was not until November 19 that Gottschalk broadcast from Friedrichshafen. Among others, singer Robbie Williams (48), actress Veronica Ferres (57) and Hollywood legend John Malkovich (68) took a seat on the famous sofa in the latest edition. Gottschalk moderated “Wetten, dass…?” initially from 1987 to 1992 and returned to its original position in 1994 after a short break. In 2011 he passed the baton to his colleague Markus Lanz (53). The show was discontinued in 2014 due to falling ratings. In 2019, ZDF announced last year’s revival, which had to be postponed from 2020 to 2021 due to the corona pandemic.
