The new “Tatort” team of Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) is about to premiere: Corinna Harfouch (68) and Mark Waschke (50) will be seen together for the first time. As usual, the latter can be seen as Chief Inspector Robert Karow, while Harfouch takes on the new role of Susanne Bonard. “Tatort: Nothing but the truth” will be shown in two parts at Easter.

The first part will be shown on Easter Sunday, April 9, and the second on Easter Monday, April 10, at 8:15 p.m. in the first. The new Berlin “Tatort” team could immediately compete with a ZDF classic: A new “Traumschiff” episode can usually be seen there on Easter Sunday. A new “crime scene” at Easter was always shown on Mondays.

According to the announcement, Robert Karow is called to a crime scene in the new case. Everything indicates that the young security police officer Rebecca Kästner (Kaya Marie Möller, 37) took her own life in her apartment the night before: drugs, custody dispute, excessive demands. But when Karow finds her frightened four-year-old son Matti (Yvon Sable Moltzen) in the garden, he has doubts about the suicide.

Then the last call from the dead to an unusual number: Susanne Bonard, a former LKA great who now teaches at the police academy. She is a luminary whose standard work everyone knows. Before Karow knows it, she is put at his side just in case. Bonard was busy uncovering right-wing tendencies at her academy, fighting against the director (Jörg Pose, 63) and her colleague Götz Lennart (Thomas Niehaus, born 1981).

When investigating Rebecca’s death, the inspectors also come across connections to the right-wing scene. Bonard suspects a large right-wing network, Karow thinks she’s paranoid. But the commissioner has to realize that there are actually larger connections …

The new “crime scene” was shot from May 31 to August 1, 2022, including in Berlin-Mitte, Zehlendorf and Treptow. Other roles include Ercan Karaçayli (55), Sebastian Hülk (48), Ivo Kortlang (born 1994) and Birge Schade (58).

At the beginning of 2020, rbb announced that Corinna Harfouch would succeed Meret Becker (54) in Berlin’s “crime scene”. “I immediately thought it was a great idea to become a ‘Tatort’ commissioner in Berlin,” said Harfouch about her commitment at the time. Becker announced her departure from the Sunday evening thriller in May 2019. On May 22, 2022, the last episode with her flickered across the screens.
