At the Kids’ Choice Awards of the American TV broadcaster Nickelodeon, numerous stars were again poured with slime at the weekend.
Among the green crowd victims at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday night were actress Michelle Rodriguez and actor Chris Pine, and influencer Landon Barker. The awards show is known for dousing the stars and fans alike with green goo.
The top prizes in the Best Female Artist and Best Artist categories went to pop superstars Taylor Swift and Harry Styles. Styles also received a trophy for his hit “As It Was,” which won Best Song.
In addition to numerous TV shows for children and actors, the South Korean boy band BTS was honored as the best group. Tennis superstar Serena Williams and basketballer LeBron James were honored in the Sports category.
Every year, the Kids’ Choice Awards select the favorites of young fans who vote online in dozens of categories ranging from cinema to television and music to sport.
