The husband of country star Kellie Pickler (36) is dead. As the “People” magazine reports, citing the police in Nashville, Tennessee, Kyle Jacobs, also known as a musician, died at the age of 49. As the report goes on to say, the authorities are currently assuming a suicide. At the moment, investigations are only being carried out in this direction. Pickler herself made the emergency call together with an assistant after she could no longer open a door in her house and suspected her husband was behind it. The rescue workers then found the deceased there.

Before that, the singer woke up and looked for her husband in the house they shared, but could not find him. Just a day before his death, Jacobs posted an award from artist Lee Brice (43) on Instagram, on whose album “Hey World” he had worked. Captioning the post, the artist wrote, “I’m deeply honored to be a creative part of this… Thank you Jesus!!!” Kyle Jacobs was active as a songwriter and producer for numerous stars, including Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson (40) and country icon Garth Brooks (61).

Kellie Pickler rose to fame at the age of 19 after appearing on the singing show “American Idol” and then began her music career as a country singer. Furthermore, Pickler can also be seen again and again in various US TV formats such as “Dancing with the Stars” or her own reality show “I Love Kellie Pickler”. As of January 1, 2011, Pickler was married to colleague Kyle Jacobs.
