ARD is reviving the former quiz slot at 4:10 p.m.: The guessing show “Ask me something easier!” starts on April 8th. in the first. The presenter Lea Wagner (29), known from the “Sportschau”, leads the show every Monday to Friday. For her, a childhood dream is coming true, she told the station. A prominent guessing team consisting of “Tagesschau” icon Jens Riewa (60), “Brisant” presenter Marwa Eldessouky (42) and “The Show with the Mouse” face Ralph Caspers (52) will then be challenged to knowledge duels.

You face three opponents who can be friends, family, colleagues or students. What’s special: The quiz starts with difficult questions and then gets easier. The categories are “Tagesschau”, “Brisant” and “Everything you should know”. There is also a “super category” that is selected by the candidates. In a statement from the broadcaster it is said that in order to win you need “good everyday and general knowledge” and you have to be strong at thinking.

“I love quiz shows and look forward to many exciting knowledge duels between our experts and the candidates,” enthuses moderator Wagner. “Of course, I’m always the challenger’s advocate.” The special twist of their new quiz show is that the candidates can come back again and again. All they have to do is win and be able to take “a lot of money” with them: “So excitement is guaranteed!”

The new edition of “The Quiz with Jörg Pilawa” ran on the same time slot in 2020 and 2021 before the format was finally discontinued. The predecessor celebrated its greatest successes between 2001 and 2010 on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7:20 p.m.
