Singer Annemarie Eilfeld (32) and her partner Tim Sandt became parents for the first time in August. The two deliberately keep their son Elian out of the public eye. “Child protection is important to me. I don’t want to give sick people any input on social media,” explains Eilfeld in an interview with the “Bild” newspaper. She doesn’t judge families who do things differently. For her, however, it would be “absolutely out of the question” to show her child’s face. Because she knows “that there are relevant pages”.
But that doesn’t mean that Annemarie Eilfeld is hiding her son at home – on the contrary. He regularly accompanies her to performances or to the recording studio. “My son loves it when he’s there,” says the singer, revealing that she can imagine more children: “If it happens, it happens.” She also doesn’t rule out an early wedding: “I think the 24th of a month in 2024 sounds pretty good.”
Annemarie Eilfeld and Tim Sandt have been engaged since the end of June 2022. Their son Elian was born in August of the same year. The singer described the addition to the family as a “miracle” on her Instagram channel.
She suffers from the hormone disorder PCOS, the former DSDS candidate wrote in a clip that documented her way to the first child. Because of her diagnosis, she only had a 25 percent chance of getting pregnant in the next two years. Finally finding out about her pregnancy was “something very special, a blessing”.
