Their looks could hardly be more different, but they were both enthusiastic: Anna Kendrick (37) and Michelle Williams (42) showed up in two glamorous robes at the Director Guild of America Awards on Saturday evening in Los Angeles.

Kendrick was hard to miss in her pink sequin short dress, which featured delicate spaghetti straps and a V-neckline. She styled her brown hair in waves and slung it over her shoulders. Black pumps with silver details completed the red carpet outfit.

Williams, on the other hand, opted for an elegant, strapless and floor-length evening dress all in white. The highlight was the deep décolleté of her corsage. The actress chose a silver chain for this. She left her blonde bob sleek. Both women kept their makeup completely natural.

In addition to Kendrick and Williams, stars such as Seth Rogen (40), Nicole Kidman (55), Steven Spielberg (76) and Christina Ricci (43) also honored themselves on Saturday evening. The science fiction comedy “Everything Everywhere All At Once” was awarded the main prize for best feature film direction.
