In mid-July this year, a dream came true for Andres Valencia. His parents flew to Paris with him and the question was: a day at Disneyland or the Louvre? Most 11-year-olds would have no hesitation in choosing Mickey Mouse. But Andres Valencia is no ordinary eleven-year-old. His eyes light up when he talks about Picasso, Condo and Modigliani. His own paintings fetch up to $230,000 at art auctions. “The Louvre was beautiful and really big,” he later enthuses. If he could choose a place to exhibit his art, it would be the Louvre.
