Kim Kardashian (42) will appear alongside Emma Roberts (32) in the twelfth season of “American Horror Story”. That emerges from a teaser that the reality star shared with her Instagram followers on Sunday. “Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are fragile,” it reads. Kardashian captioned the clip with an eye emoji and a drop of blood. Roberts posted the same clip on her profile.
US broadcaster FX confirmed the cast to People.com, but gave no details about Kardashian’s role. They had “written a funny, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim,” co-creator Ryan Murphy (57) revealed to the “Hollywood Reporter”. “Emma and I look forward to working together,” he added. He promises a season unlike anything we’ve done before.
Plans to sign Kardashian for American Horror Story first began after she hosted Saturday Night Live last October.
The role marks Kim Kardashian’s first in almost a decade. She has had smaller roles in series such as “CSI: NY” (2009), “How I Met Your Mother” (2009) or “2 Broke Girls” (2014).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming season of American Horror Story will be based on Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition. The book is about a woman who is convinced that someone is trying to prevent her pregnancy by any means necessary.
