It is the love of his children and the hope of re-boxes, there have been Dennis Ceylan to hold onto in life.
For the desire to live was gone – just like his career in boxing ended with a sad sentence.
But now the 30-year-old Dennis Ceylan found both the lust for life and the courage to make a comeback as a professional boxer and put the downturn behind them.
It says the former european champion to the B. T.
“There is a long road ahead of me, but it might have been good for me to hit bottom. Earlier in my career I have probably taken it all for granted, and it’s all come so easily to me,” said Dennis Ceylan.
Fjervægterens latest battle was bokset and lost 19. January of this year against the spaniard Jesus Sanchez.
It was Dennis Ceylan to say stop and disappear out of the limelight, but now he’s ready for more.
“the Reason why I would like to back, is that it was in the ring, I had it the best. I had something to stand up to and go up in. I have no education, and I am otherwise only up in my children,” says Dennis Ceylan and continues:
“I lost everything when I stopped with boxing. The last three matches did not go well (lost two and won one, red.). I actually had no desire to box for many years, and I made it to the end to satisfy everyone else around me.”
Dennis Ceylan acknowledges that it sounds modsætningsfuldt, that he long did not bother boxes and now can’t do without it.
He explains it, among other things, that he really lived up to its own dream and goal as a boxer, when he won the european championship. Then was the motivation away.
“My goal was never to become world champion. My goal was to become european champion, and I was. When it happened, I lost complete desire to box,” said Dennis Ceylan.
“But now I have experienced the loss of what I really have always fought for, which is my career in boxing. I stood back without joy in life, and I have had it really bad. I have had suicidal thoughts and all the possible pis. It has been totally sick,” says the boxer about the time after the last battle in January.
Dennis Ceylan was in the same period, the father once again, and it was that he chose to stick, though the downturn was hard on him.
Here he also found out that boxing had given him all the self-esteem and joy, he now stood and looked after.
“The only time I felt worth anything, has been in the boxing ring. At the same time the war also been a false happiness, where people are only there for you when things are going well. As soon as it goes bad, we must listen to all possible shit,” said Dennis Ceylan.
In the period after the euro was Dennis Ceylan also tested positive for the substance cocaine.
A matter of fact, you tried to keep secret for the public, but that B. T. could detect, which effectively led to the Dennis Ceylan unofficially had to give his EM-belt.
The history and a subsequent defeat to the later English world champion Josh Warrington also had consequences for Dennis Ceylan outside of the ring, where he met with several negative comments in the public.
“And I take it very personally, though I ought to be don’t care with what people out in the city say and think,” he explains and adds:
“I’m about to come up again now, and I have found happiness, but it has been a bad and hard ride.”
Dennis Ceylan says himself, that he can be combative for the spring. And he coach already along with his boksetræner, Frank Olsen, in Aarhus, denmark.
the Next challenge is, however, whether there is a promoter that will give him the chance.
Here is similar to Team Sauerland, Dennis Ceylans best option.
“I would at least like to give it a try. I have spoken a little with the Fairy Sauerland, and he was positive,” said Dennis Ceylan.
B. T. has also spoken with the Fairy in the Sauerland region. He confirms that there could well be a chance to let Dennis Ceylan boxes at promotorens Nordic Fight Night-rallies.
