Singer Adele (35) has canceled all “Weekends with Adele” performances in Las Vegas planned for March. She cited health problems as the reason. The concerts will be rescheduled at a later date.

“At the end of the last stage and throughout my break, I was sick,” the Grammy winner explained in a statement on Instagram on Tuesday evening. “I hadn’t quite had the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I’m sick again and unfortunately it’s all taken a toll on my voice.” On “the doctor’s instructions,” she therefore had “no choice but to rest thoroughly.” The entire five March weekends at Caesars Palace would be postponed.

The exact catch-up dates have not yet been determined: “We are already working on the details and we will send you the information as quickly as possible.” The singer commented on her message: “I love you, I will miss you like crazy and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.”

It’s not the first time fans have had to live with a postponement in Las Vegas. The beginning was already bumpy: “Weekends with Adele” was originally supposed to start in January 2022, but one day before the start, Adele surprisingly announced that she would not be able to perform due to corona-related delays. “Half my crew, half my team got COVID – they still are – and it was impossible to finish the show,” she explained on social media at the time.

In July 2022 she reported with good news and announced that the Las Vegas concerts would begin in November. In March 2023, the singer surprised her fans by announcing that she would continue her stay in the gaming metropolis with 34 new dates from November 2023. Adele added another 32 more shows in October 2023, extending her residency until June 2024.

As Page Six reported, Adele is expected to return to the Strip stage on May 17 after her break. In the past few months, the singer has repeatedly suffered from severe back pain and has even had to interrupt performances.
