In the GDR, Karin Gregorek first made a name for herself as a theater actress, but she also acted in a number of movies and several times in “Polizeiruf 110”. After the fall of the Wall, she effortlessly made the leap onto West German television. She was a permanent member of the ensemble in series such as “Mama istImpossible” and “Tierarzt Dr. Engel”.

However, she found her late star role in “For Heaven’s Sake”. In the successful monastery comedy she played alongside Fritz Wepper. As Sister Felicitas Meier, a nun with weaknesses for alternating between alcohol, tobacco and computer games, she was one of the crowd’s favourites.
