The US actors Neil Patrick Harris (50) and David Burtka (48, both from “How I Met Your Mother”) are happy about a lasting good relationship with their 13-year-old twins. “We’re constantly told that they’re going to hate us at some point,” Harris told Entertainment Tonight, referring to Harper and Gideon’s entry into their teens. “That hasn’t happened yet. So you know, so far, so good!”
His husband Burtka proudly enthused: “They are good children. We did a good job.” He emphasized the importance of time together for an intimate relationship in the family – “the more access to you, the more they can open up,” he said. This year, Harper and Gideon wanted to dress up in unusual costumes together with their fathers for Halloween, said Burtka. “We thought they wouldn’t be interested in it after ten years, but they’re excited!”
