US actor Bob Odenkirk (59) would like to shoot more action films after his leading role in the action thriller “Nobody”. He told the industry magazine “Deadline” on Thursday during a video switch at the Venice International Film Festival.
“I was very surprised by Nobody. I started this project because I felt like the character I was developing in Better Call Saul was the kind of character you see in an action movie: him had serious longings and was willing to sacrifice himself,” said Odenkirk, who played attorney Saul Goodman on hit series Breaking Bad and Better Caul Saul.
“I still train several times a week and if I have my way, you’re going to see me in action movies more often,” Odenkirk continued. “I love the early Jackie Chan movies that had a sense of humor.” He would like to build something like this himself in the future.
Previously, “Nobody” producer David Leitch had confirmed that there would be a sequel to the film with much of the original crew. A release date for the film was not yet known.
