Ms. Pooth, what is your earliest memory of a birthday?

my second birthday There’s another cute photo of it. My mother had a hairdressing salon in Hamburg and I had a lot of hair. She put them on big curlers the night before. My dad was an engineer, and when he came home from work and saw me with these giant curlers in my hair, he couldn’t contain his excitement. The next morning my mom had cut my fringe, I got black patent leather shoes, white tights and a white dress and a first gold chain with my zodiac sign, Taurus. I was dressed up like a birthday princess. When I look at the photo today, I think how much that already had of me.

Have you ever canceled a birthday simply because, pardon me, you didn’t feel like it?

Don’t worry, I don’t have that. Birthdays are always celebrated, just in different ways – sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, very romantically.

What is the balance sheet for the 55th?

I hope sensational. I’m very comfortable in my own skin, so I don’t have time to think about numbers and facts. I love to celebrate every birthday and enjoy this attitude to life without emphasizing certain numbers. But what cannot be denied is the fact that you are in midlife. After all, you have reached the point where you know exactly what you want and what you no longer want.
