LOS ANGELES , Warner Bros. unveiled the trailer for “The Batman “, which features Robert Pattinson’s first appearance as a DC Comics hero.
At the DC Fandome event, Pattinson’s Dark Knight is seen taking down bad guys while being outnumbered. His Batsuit absorbs multiple bullets.
The footage shows a dark, violent, and bleak Batman version. Pattinson’s voice says about the Bat-Signal, “Fear is an instrument.” It’s more than a call when the light hits the skies. It’s a warning.
The trailer shows multiple iconic characters including Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman and Colin Farrell’s Batman.
The trailer opens with the scene of police arresting an individual in a cafe. The coffee he drank is whipped into a question mark and turned into milk, Batman’s arch-nemesis The Riddler.
Pattinson can be heard later in the footage describing Gotham City’s situation: “This is the powder keg.” The Riddler is the match.
“The Batman” will hit theaters March 4.
