Katie Maloney responded to Raquel Leviss’ comments by saying, “We literally told [them] there’s no side to pick.”
Katie Maloney tells her side of the story.
Reality star Raquel Leviss, 35, said that Vanderpump Rules castmates felt they had to choose “sides” during Maloney’s and Tom Schwartz’s divorce.
Leviss told Page Six that she feels like Katie and Tom expect people to pick sides. It has [changed] the dynamic. It appears that way even though I am friends with them both.
Leviss wouldn’t say whether Schwartz (39), or Maloney (35) put more pressure on the cast members to choose sides but said, “Personally I don’t get this vibe, but Scheana [Shay] does so you should ask.”
Maloney responded to Leviss’ comments by commenting on an Instagram post of a VPR fan group.
“We literally said that there were no sides. “I have felt that some people have done that on their own, but Tom and I are still friends so what?” she wrote.
Later, she replied to a fan that Schwartz’s VPR costars may “feel torn” because they love her.
Maloney responded, “There’s no reason not to feel torn though. That’s the point.”
Schwartz and Sheila announced their split in March after 12 years of being together. Each shared their announcements on their respective Instagram accounts.
“I didn’t think I’d have to make this announcement. Maloney said, “But I believe it’s important to be open about my life with You.” “Tom and I have been on a 12-year journey through life together, and we are ending our marriage. This is not a time for resentment and animosity. There are no two sides. We will cherish our friendship and have deep admiration for each other.
