Craig Doyle stated that he would be taking Dermot’s place.
The first episode of This Morning features Alison Hammond as co-host.
Fans have grown to love seeing Dermot O’Leary, 47, as the Friday edition of ITV Daytime has been hosted by the presenter since January 2021. They also step in for the holidays.
The Bank Holiday Monday show (May 2) will feature a new presenter, but that’s not the only change. Craig Doyle announced that he would be taking Dermot’s place on The Morning this weekend.
“I am so excited to host This Morning tomorrow, I have arrived 14 hours before work!” He also shared a photo of him outside ITV Studios in London, where he was carrying a suitcase. He said: “Join @alisonhammond55 & I at 10 am @thismorning@itv.” Alison shared her post with her co-host, adding a GIF that said “LOL” – also known as laugh out loud – and a crying laughing smile emoji.
