At the end of a weak stock market week, the Dax recovered noticeably on Friday. The labor market report from the USA did not dampen the mood in the long term. The leading index closed up 1.06 percent at 15,229.77 points. His weekly minus still amounts to 1.02 percent. The stock market barometer built up a small cushion again at the 15,000 point mark, which was temporarily undershot on Wednesday. The MDax of medium-sized stocks rose by 0.91 percent to 25,403.14 points on Friday.
The US labor market was unexpectedly robust in September. Economists were particularly surprised by the strong increase in employment. Nevertheless, wage developments eased somewhat.
