The Valladolid Women’s March and Race, organized by El Norte de Castilla, today celebrated its fifth edition through the streets of downtown Valladolid in an edition marked by the participation, for the first time, of men in the march, once allowed your registration by the organizers.

In this way, pink has once again dyed the main streets of the city of Valladolid, with more than 500 participants who wore t-shirts of this color from the start of the race, which took place on the Paseo Central del Campo Grande, until the arrival to the same place, picks up Ical.

At 10 a.m., the participants of the race, a test aimed at women over 12 years of age, began to run along a circuit that, in addition to Campo Grande, passed through the Plaza de Colón, the Paseo Filipinos, the Plaza de Zorrilla, the Santiago, Ferrari, Duque de la Victoria and Miguel Íscar streets, Acera Recoletos and Paseo de los Kioscos, until returning to Paseo Central de Campo Grande.

The march started from the same point just ten minutes later, and both men and women began the test, without a minimum age, to complete a six-kilometre route through the historic center of Valladolid on a sunny day where the participants were able to enjoy the combination of outdoor sports with your donation to a project in favor of gender equality, to which the five euros from each participant’s registration will be allocated.
