Agents of the National Police have arrested a 32-year-old man in Torrent (Valencia) as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health after seizing 17 bags of white powdery substance, apparently cocaine, that he was carrying in his toiletry bag.

The police have located the man inside his vehicle with the front window and a fractured door, some damage that he allegedly caused himself, according to the National Police in a statement.

The events have occurred in Torrent, when the agents were commissioned by Room 091 to go to a street in the area, where apparently a man was hitting a vehicle hard.

The agents have gone to the scene and located a man inside a vehicle that had a fractured front window and a damaged driver’s door.

In a “cocky” attitude, he told the police that he was the owner of the vehicle and that the damage had been caused by himself.

After requesting the documentation, the man began to insult the policemen, at which point they observed him carrying a toiletry bag that he “held tightly.” After seizing this garment, the agents have verified that he had 17 bags containing a white powdery substance inside, apparently cocaine, 790 euros, notebook sheets with various annotations and three mobile phones.

Due to these facts, the police have arrested the man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health. The arrested person, with a police record, has been taken to court.
