Five Dynamo players shine for Ukraine in friendly against Poland

Ukraine’s national team is gearing up for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament, set to begin on June 14 in Germany. Following a goalless draw in a friendly match against the hosts, Ukraine faced off against Poland in Warsaw on June 7.

The match proved to be an exciting one, with the home team scoring three goals by the 30th minute. Despite pulling one back before halftime, Ukraine was unable to find the back of the net again. Notably, five players from FC Dynamo Kyiv featured in the game – goalkeeper Heorhii Bushchan, defender Oleksandr Tymchyk, midfielders Andrii Yarmolenko and Mykola Shaparenko, and forward Vladyslav Vanat.

Looking ahead, Ukraine is scheduled to play another friendly against Moldova in Chișinău on June 11. Additionally, their first Euro 2024 match is set for June 17 against Romania. The team, under the guidance of coach Serhii Rebrov, is eager to make a strong showing in the tournament.
