The winners of Wednesday’s match 1 at Levallois (74–97) were the Palois, who had two match points to make it into the semi-finals in the Betclic Elite playoffs. One will be enough: Eric Bartecheky’s floor men doubled their bet on Saturday, May 28,
They led from the beginning (13-7), and controlled the first half, despite their inept 3-point shooting (5/20). Their team was able to take the lead in the locker room with Hamady Ndiaye (near the circle) and Jeremy Leloup (3/5-3 pts at Rest), Vincent Hunter and LahahouKonate gave Levallois the lead for the first time (44-45, 24th), however Jeremy Leloup (21 points) & Brandon Jefferson (author of big shots including one with the board on the buzzer, of big shots again propelled the Elan to the lead (52-47) Levallois would not be coming back.
The Elan has finally made it to the quarter-finals after his defeats against Nanterre (2019), Monaco (2018), Strasbourg (2016) and Monaco (2018). Since 2006, it has been 16 years since his last appearance in the final four of the top flight. They will need to wait until Monday to learn their opponent, Monaco. Monaco had won this Saturday’s series at the Strasbourg floor with an extra time (95-97).
