The firefighters from the Hautes-Alpes intervened at 7:30 a.m. Monday, May 30, for a traffic accident that occurred on the RD1075 in Grenoble near Aspres-sur-Buech. The first data collected indicates that a frontal collision would have occurred between a car & a heavy goods vehicle. The car driver was severely injured in his lower limbs and had to be extricated.
The 68-year old woman was supported by emergency services and flown in absolute emergencies to the Grenoble hospital. The truck driver was not hurt. For nearly two hours, the gendarmes closed down traffic on the RD1075. Twelve firefighters from Aspres-sur-Buech and Laragne were mobilized. The Gap Smur (Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service), intervened.
