Saturday, May 28th, all day, Shad Festival, the city’s most popular event, attracted large crowds around Place Aristide Briand. This place, which was a lively spot from the early hours of the morning for a commemoration about the centenary war memorial, was full of people. The Great War. Together with the Friends of Old Lormont they responded to the event of remembrance by laying a wreath as well as an evocative plaque.
The conference and meeting around the novel and “Remi and bronze of the heroes” drew from a true family tree and demonstrated the hard work of archive workers at the association and museum of the old Lormont. A very popular moment was the guided tour by Igor Pavlata with his team. The Castelldefels Space will host the exhibition until November 30
The long-awaited moment of day was the festive meal around the King Fish, back on the banks and tables of Lormont after two year absence. The logistics were handled by the City, the associations, and the young people involved. A family audience was present and, to the delight of the accordion, the evening brightened up.
