Luca Hänni (28) and Christina Luft (32) currently have to deal with a stubborn stalker. As the “Let’s Dance” dream couple explains in a statement on Instagram, “a certain Ms. Z*” keeps badmouthing the two with advertising partners and concert organizers, spreading “untruths” and making “threats”. But the worst thing is that she follows and stalks Hänni and Luft “almost every day” – and has been “for years”.
The Swiss singer and the professional dancer had repeatedly sought help from lawyers and the police. “Unfortunately, when it comes to stalking, it takes a long time for something to happen,” the couple continues. The matter was “absolutely serious” and “not funny at all”. “We and our families feel increasingly uncomfortable.”
Since there is currently no improvement in sight, the two now want to share the topic with the public and ask them to report information or messages from “Ms. Z*” to the police or to forward them to Hännis’ email address.
In addition, the couple wants to “personally get involved in the issue of stalking” in the future, because they are aware “that it affects other people and, in our opinion, far too little is being done about it”.
Luca Hänni, “DSDS” winner from 2012, and the dancer Christina Luft met and fell in love with each other in the spring of 2020 on the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance”. Together they danced for third place and each other’s hearts. The two are now engaged and have recently been living together in Switzerland.
