Football world star Tom Brady (45) has announced his departure from professional sports – once again. The top quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl winner posted a video on his official Instagram account in which he announced his decision – apparently final this time – and explained it to his almost 13 million followers.

Brady gets straight to the point in the clip, revealing that he’s retiring from football “forever.” “I know the process was pretty big last time. When I woke up this morning I figured I’d just hit the record button and let you guys know first. I won’t hold my breath. I think you only get one chance at super emotional retirement lyrics, and I’ve used up my last year.”

Addressing his fans and loved ones, Brady says, “Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever, there are too many. Thank you for let me live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I love you all.”

Brady had already given up his career in February last year, but a short time later announced his resignation and was hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In recent months, however, the footballer has largely made headlines off the field. First, it was reported that Brady has signed a ten-year post-NFL contract that will net him a record $375 million as a television pundit at Fox Sports.

In October 2022, meanwhile, it was officially confirmed that his marriage to supermodel Gisele Bundchen (42) was divorced after 13 years. “The decision to end a marriage is never easy,” the model explained on his Instagram stories at the time. But you have grown apart. She was thankful for the time we had together.
