In “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” they sit harmoniously on the jury, but outside of the show it crashes between Dieter Bohlen and Katja Krasavice. It all started with Bohlen’s sexist sayings about a candidate on the casting show. His fellow juror Katja Krasavice did not agree and published a diss track against Bohlen on TikTok.

Now the dispute is going into the next round: in an interview with the radio station 104.6 RTL, the pop titan shot the singer. “I’m not aware of any guilt,” Bohlen defended his sayings. “And my three and a half million followers don’t care at all, so I don’t care either.”

He didn’t even listen to the Krasavice track, said Bohlen: “I only saw that there was something like that, but I don’t want to spoil the day.” Certain people and things are “on a level outside of my field of perception”. Apparently there is no contact between Bohlen and Krasavice. “We don’t talk on the phone. I don’t think I was stupid enough to give her my number,” said the 68-year-old.

Krasavice had attacked Bohlen in her short TikTok video with lines like “You’re wearing your slut shaming again as usual” or “My ass has more relevance than any of your German superstars”. The clip on her account, which has 2.9 million followers, has been viewed nearly two million times.

The recent taunts should pull the mood in the DSDS jury further down. Bohlen also has a tense relationship with fellow juror Leony. The singer said in an interview that Bohlen had attested to her “a beautiful voice, but a bit of a charisma like a cleaning lady” in an interview with her producer. According to Bohlen, the backgrounds were wrong: your manager asked him for a tip. He only wanted to express that Leony was “not conspicuous enough”.

In an interview with 104.6 RTL, Bohlen was once again very clear about the composition of the jury: “The jury chooses RTL.” So sometimes there are colleagues who “I think sucks”: “Do you seriously think that I liked sitting next to Wendler?” RTL separated from Bohlen in 2021, but brought him back for the 20th and final season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”.
