A number of stars from the world of fashion and show business paid their last respects to the deceased fashion icon Vivienne Westwood (1941-2022) today, Thursday. Supermodel Kate Moss (49), designer Victoria Beckham (48), actress Helena Bonham Carter (56) and “Vogue” boss Anna Wintour (73) appeared at the memorial service in London’s Southwark Cathedral, as “Daily Mail” reports. Many of the prominent mourners wore pieces designed by Westwood for the occasion.

Ex-Spice Girl Beckham appeared in an elegant, high-necked black dress, while Hollywood star Bonham Carter opted for a skirt and blazer ensemble in Westwood’s signature check pattern. In addition, she combined a striking pearl necklace from the late star designer. Supermodel Moss wore a dark floral dress under a black blazer.

Actress Elle Fanning (24), screen legend Vanessa Redgrave (86) and Mick Jagger’s (79) daughter Georgia May Jagger (31) were among the mourners – as were the musicians Nick Cave (65), Bob Geldof (71) and Beth Ditto (41).

Fashion icon Westwood passed away in December last year at the age of 81. The designer, provocateur and activist is considered, among other things, to be one of the inventors of the punk look. In 2006 she was made a Dame of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022).
