Seven weeks after Vivienne Westwood’s death, stars including actress Helena Bonham Carter, model Kate Moss and ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham commemorated the designer at a service.

On Thursday, many guests in London’s Southwark Cathedral wore clothing in Westwood’s brightly colored style or with the check patterns typical of the British woman. US singer Beth Ditto and actress Elle Fanning attended the commemoration, as did singers Nick Cave and Bob Geldof and acting legend Vanessa Redgrave.

Westwood died in December at the age of 81. The “Queen of Punk” was considered a rebellious and nonconformist artist with provocative slogans and androgynous cuts. She has made a name for herself with her rebellious stance against the establishment since the 1970s.
