ProSieben scored particularly well with young audiences: the quiz “Who is stealing the show?” made a successful debut in its new Sunday night slot.
From 8:15 p.m., 1.52 million (5.9 percent) viewers tuned in to the quiz show with Joko Winterscheidt. In the age group between 14 and 49, which is important for the private broadcaster, ProSieben achieved a strong rating of 17.0 percent and was almost on a par with the Sunday thriller in the first (17.1 percent).
Winterscheidt competes in his show against three stars and a studio guest from the TV audience – the role of the host of the show is at stake. 26-year-old Helena from Berlin became the first non-celebrity in the history of the show to win the quiz. The Berliner will now moderate the format next Sunday and redesign it according to her wishes. At the same time, Winterscheidt joins the advice team with actress Jasna Fritzi Bauer, musician Sido and Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz. They all try to steal the show from Helena again. The format previously ran on Tuesdays and had already been successful in the old slot.
The front runner among the total audience on Sunday, however, was the “Polizeiruf 110” thriller. 7.52 million (24.4 percent) switched to the Rostock case “Daniel A.” a. The investigators Katrin König (Anneke Kim Sarnau) and Melly Böwe (Lina Beckmann) dealt with the corpse of an elementary school teacher in a pub parking lot.
ZDF had the romantic drama “Next Exit Luck” with Valerie Niehaus and Dirk Borchardt in the program – 4.32 million (14.0 percent) wanted to see it. The American action adventure “Jurassic World” with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard attracted 2.05 million (7.1 percent) viewers on RTL. The US comic adaptation “Captain Marvel” with Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson on Sat.1 brought 1.58 million (5.6 percent) into the house.
Kabel eins had the documentary “Trucker Babes – 400 hp in the hands of a woman” to offer – there were 820,000 fans for it. (2.7 percent). Just 340,000 viewers (1.1 percent) tuned in to the comedy “Bad Neighbors” with Seth Rogen and Zac Efron on RTLzwei.
