On the anniversary of the Russian attack on Ukraine on Friday, many TV stations are showing special programs. A selection:

The first

On Friday at 11:05 p.m., the main ARD broadcaster will show David Belton’s documentary “Voices from the War – Ukraine 2022”. Ukrainian women tell what they experience and suffer.

The second

The “heute journal” with Marietta Slomka focuses on the war on Thursday at 9.45 p.m. Afterwards at 10.15 p.m. the ZDF political talk “maybrit illner” discussed a year of war in Ukraine. In the “ZDF-Morgenmagazin” on Friday from 8.30 a.m., Ukrainian refugees are in the “moma-Café” for a chat. On Friday from 10.30 a.m., ZDF will be broadcasting the central event on the anniversary of the Russian attack live from Bellevue Palace. Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier speaks there.

In an “RTL Aktuell Spezial: Ukraine War – A year that changes the world” on Thursday at 8:15 p.m., anchorman Maik Meuser looks back with the half-hour special live from Kiev together with experts and provides information on the current situation.

On Friday at 3:00 p.m., the news channel will broadcast a “World Talk” in which Welt-TV editor-in-chief Jan Philipp Burgard will speak to Sahra Wagenknecht (left), Andrij Melnyk (Vice Foreign Minister of Ukraine), and Anton Hofreiter (Greens).
