On board the ill-fated plane were his two daughters Madita and Annik, aged ten and twelve. They also did not survive the disaster on the archipelago of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

According to RTL, local authorities have confirmed the crash. According to them, the single-engine plane took off from the largest island, Becquia, on Thursday afternoon. The plane was on its way to the island nation of St. Lucia, 65 miles away. “Fishermen and divers went to the scene to provide assistance. The Coast Guard was informed and quickly traveled to Paget Farm, Bequia to lead the rescue work,” the authorities’ statement said.

According to police, not only the actor and his daughters died in the accident, but also the pilot and owner of the plane: “The four bodies were recovered by coast guard personnel and later pronounced dead by a doctor.”

“It’s absolutely horrible and my thoughts are with the mother.
