The new episode of “Goodbye Germany – The Emigrants” is all about the dramatic birth of the second child of “Bauer sucht Frau” dream couple Anna and Gerald. According to the broadcaster’s advance notice, the girl had to be born “four weeks before the actual date of birth”.
After the heavily pregnant woman went into premature labor, the couple made their way to the hospital 200 kilometers away as quickly as possible. The doctors there tried to stop the contractions with medication and thus prevent a premature birth. “The doctor just decided that we have to get the little one out because her heartbeat is way too high,” says Anna Heiser in one scene. The attempt failed.
But the worries about the youngest member of the farming family don’t end there. “Baby Alina is born with an underdeveloped lung and has to go to the intensive care unit immediately,” reports the broadcaster. “When I heard that she couldn’t breathe and was really gasping for air – that was hard,” summarizes the new mother of two on the show. After the birth, Anna’s mother and sister supported the family. The two had traveled all the way from Poland to help.
After the birth, Gerald distracted himself with the preparations for the first Christmas together with the new family member. Together with his son Leon, he is looking for a hawthorn tree for the holidays – a Namibian tradition… All of this is on March 10, 2023 in the second episode of the VOX docu-soap about the life of the Heisers 9:15 p.m. According to the broadcaster, episode three appears “promptly”.
Namibian farmer Gerald Heiser was signed up by his sister for the 13th season of the reality series “Bauer sucht Frau” (RTL) in 2017. At that time he was not only the first participant in the dating soap from Africa, but also a real heartthrob. To date, he has received the most letters across all seasons. In the final he chose Anna, who was born in Poland. In front of the cameras, he proposed to her. The wedding followed in Poland in 2018 and a few weeks later again in Africa.
The couple now lives with two children on the farm, which is 7,000 football pitches in size. Son Leon was born at the end of January 2021. And daughter Alina at the end of November 2022.
